Cross Stitch Design Hope Owl and Congratulation on Graduation

Cross Stitch Design Hope Owl
Posted by Drew Zeitlin:

Hello everybody. Well, it is that time of year again. It is that time when certain 17, 18 and 19 year olds didn't think would ever get here. It is that time when some of their parents would agree and other parents can't believe it got here so quick. It is time for graduation. It is time for pop and circumstance. For the graduate it is time for relief, celebration, maybe college, and or maybe a job. For the parents it is time also for relief, reflection, celebration, maybe helping with college tuition, and or maybe collecting some rent. Mostly it is a time for hope. We want to offer congratulation to the Class of 2013 and to their parents for a job well done. Good luck.

So the question that needs to be studied and hopefully answered thoughtfully and provocatively is what would be a great gift for a new graduate? The best source for thoughtfully and provocatively answers is the digital vaults at abullrun. We posed this question to them and the reply was of course the Cross Stitch Design Hope Owl. Of course it is a time for optimism and hope. Of course it is always time for optimism and hope, but much more at this time.

At this time of graduation what could be a better featured item of the day than the Cross Stitch Design Hope Owl. When you think of school, you think of learning and becoming wise. Do you know anything wiser than a wise old owl? What could be better than a wise old owl delivering hope? You better give a hoot because that is a perfect combination, wisdom and hope. The finished size of this hopeful cross stitch design is 10" x 10" (25.4 x 25.4 cm).

The Cross Stitch Design Hope Owl is from Design Works and designed by Karla Dornacher. The kit includes 14 count Aida cloth, embroidery floss, needle, and instructions.  As with all kits at www.abullrun.com this kit is new and has never been opened and is shipped in air bubble mailer.

Cross Stitch Design Classic Santa Stocking and Happy Birthday Frank Capra

Cross Stitch Design Classic
Santa Stocking
Posted by Drew Zeitlin:

Hello everybody. Today is a very special day. A very special person was born on this day. That special day was May 18, 1897 and that special person was the famed film director Frank Capra. Mr. Capra would be 116 years old today. In 1934 Frank Capra directed the hit movie It Happened One Night, which became the first film to win all five top Oscars including Best Picture. He also directed such fan favorites as Mr. Deeds Goes To Town, Lost Horizon, You Can't Take It With You, Meet John Doe, and one of our all time favorites Mr. Smith Goes To Washington. If Capra would have stopped there he would have been in the film directors Hall of Fame. Obviously he did not stop. During World War ll, he directed or co-directed 7 documentaries war information films called Why We Fight which won him an Academy Award in 1942 for Documentary Feature. Frank Capra is probably best known for his 1946 movie called It's A Wonderful Life starring Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed. It's A Wonderful Life is considered one of the best Christmas movies of all time and is also considered one of the most inspirational movies of all time. There is no doubt Frank Capra is one of the greatest movie directors of all time.

So that question that bothers everybody from time to time is what to get that someone who is hard to buy for? What Birthday gift can you get for someone who is 116 and produced such great movies? We were thinking a tie, but it just did not seem appropriate for this occasion and ties seem to be a much better present for Father's Day. Finally we asked the great answering device the digital vaults at abullrun if they could help us on this question. As they always do, they did help and the answer was the Cross Stitch Design Classic Santa Stocking. Well, of course the man who produced one of the greatest Christmas movies all time should be honored with the man who helps brings toys to kids on Christmas. You know that jolly old fellow with the white beard, we think they call him Santa.

On this special day of May 18, what a better item to feature for a special man on his special day than the Cross Stitch Design Classic Santa Stocking. You know what is so great about this Christmas stocking? Let me tell you, it has everything that is special with Christmas. There is of course Santa, how about that Christmas tree, a nice fire going in the fireplace with stockings hanging on the mantle, and something we all like and that is toys, and look at those toys. The digital vaults at abullrun wanted us to remind you that these cross stitch stocking projects can take up to 6 months to complete so you might want to start them now so that this special Christmas stocking can be hanging above your fire place this Christmas. The finished size of this classic Christmas stocking is 18" (45.7 cm).

The Cross Stitch Design Classic Santa Stocking is from Bucilla. The kit includes 28 count mushroom evenweave (100% cotton), cotton embroidery floss, floss separator, red felt, needle, tri-lingual instructions, and a chart.  As with all kits at www.abullrun.com this kit is new and has never been opened and is shipped in air bubble mailer.

Stamped Cross Stitch Design Twinkle Twinkle Quilt and Are You Ready For The New Star Trek

Stamped Cross Stitch Design
Twinkle Twinkle Quilt
Posted by Drew Zeitlin:

Hello everybody. Are you ready to boldly go where no man has gone before? Are you ready for a five year mission to explore strange new worlds? Are you looking to seek out new life forms and new civilizations? If you are there is a movie ticket out there for you. The new Star Trek movie is out this week and it continues the adventure of the Starship Enterprise. What is this movie about? Don't ask us we are into needlecraft not movie critics. However, we do hear that they got the whole crew back together with a couple of surprises. In the last Star Trek movie the planet Wulcan sorry we mean Vulcan was destroyed and the crew of the Enterprise saves Earth from Wulcan, again sorry we mean Vulcan's destiny. Who is your favorite Star Trek character? Is it Mr. Spock? Can you do the Wulcan salute, sorry not sure what has gotten into us, we mean the Vulcan salute? Can you do it with your left hand? Who out there likes Ensign Pavel Chekov? Maybe your favorite was Nyota Uhura? Well, maybe you fancied Mr. Sulu, Engineer Scott, and or Bones (Dr. McCoy). Maybe you don't believe in no win scenarios then Captain Kirk must be your man.

The question that should be answered is how best to mark the occasion of the release of the newest and lastest Star Trek Movie? We have been pondering that question for some time now. We were tired of pondering so we asked are good friends at the digital vaults at abullrun if they could help us out and give us the answer. Their response was that we should have come to them earlier and saved so much pondering. That was a very smart aleck response if you ask us. They did put forth the answer the Stamped Cross Stitch Design Twinkle Twinkle Quilt. What a "Fascinating" answer. That is also a very logical answer. The Star Ship Enterprise does their work in outer space and in outer space is where you find the stars.

With the hailing frequency open we heard loud and clear that the featured item of the day today shall be and alway will be the Stamped Cross Stitch Design Twinkle Twinkle Quilt. You can sleep well, knowing your baby wishes will all come true sleeping with these sweet stars and cute teddy bears. Are those teddy bears or tribbles? We are sure they are teddy bears. Your baby is sure to live long and prosper with this adorable quilt. The finished size of this baby quilt is 34" x 43" (86 x 109 cm).

Cross Stitch Design Baby Express Birth Record and Welcome The New Google Maps

Cross Stitch Design Baby Express
Birth Record
Posted by Drew Zeitlin:

Hello everybody. Have you guys heard of Google Maps? We are sure you have. Google Maps has really changed the way we get around these days. No more folding and unfolding paper maps, or checking to see if you even have the right map. Not having to spend time trying to find out where you are on the map. You can now just type an address and you get direction to where you want to go. If you have a smart phone it will even give you step by step direction. That is one cool feature. Google Maps also features transit directions, satellite view, as well as street view. It has really changed on how we move about these days. We think for the better. Yesterday Google announced that it is improving Google Maps. There is going to be a new view. The map will be full screen with thumbnails at the bottom. Google Maps will now have info cards that when you click on a business their address, phone number, photo, hours, and direction will be displayed. Venues that support this, you will now be able to view the inside of some buildings. There will also be better directions for car, public transit, walking, biking and air. It is like a whole new Google Maps.

The question we thought that needed to be answered was how should one treat the announcement of the New Google Maps? For the answer to that tricky question we looked to and received the answer from the digital vaults at abullrun. The tricky answer they gave us to that tricky question was the Cross Stitch Design Baby Express Birth Record. We like it. We should treat the announcement of the new Google Maps like we would treat announcement of a new baby. Most excellent!

Why is the Cross Stitch Design Baby Express Birth Record perfect for the item of the day on the day of the announcement of the new Google Maps? This cute birth record is about travel, albeit cute train travel, but travel nonetheless. We are sure one day this train conductor will use the new Google Maps to get around. Do you hear it? That train conductor is now calling, "all aboard". Are you aboard for cute and fun? The finished size of this cross stitch birth announcement is 12" x 9" (30 x 23 cm).

The Cross Stitch Design Baby Express Birth Record is from Baby Hugs. The kit includes cotton thread, 14 count white Aida, needle, and easy instructions with an alphabet and numbers for personalizing.  As with all kits at www.abullrun.com this kit is new and has never been opened and is shipped in air bubble mailer.

Cross Stitch Design Tuscan Welcome and It Has Been 15 Years Since The Last Seinfeld

Cross Stitch Design
Tuscan Welcome
Posted by Drew Zeitlin:

Hello everybody. Do you guys remember Seinfeld the tv show? You remember the show that was about nothing but seemed to be about everything. Did you realize today is the 15th anniversary of the final episode? That is right on May 14, 1998 the final show, which was named "The Finale" of Seinfeld aired on NBC to an audience of 76 million viewers. That show was about the four main characters, Jerry, George, Elaine, and Kramer watching a carjacking take place at gunpoint and not helping the victim. They are arrested for a duty to rescue charge. There is then a trial which brings back a lot of characters from past Seinfeld shows as witnesses that the four main characters are not the nicest and kindess of people. They are then found guilty and sent to prison, and that is how the show Seinfeld ends. Seinfeld first episode was on July 5, 1989 and the show aired for 9 seasons. The show was very controversial and very funny.

The question that had us up late last night was how best to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the final episode of the Seinfeld tv show? If we are up late thinking about this question, you can bet we kept the digital vaults at abullrun up till we got the right answer. The digital vaults at abullrun's answer was the Cross Stitch Design Tuscan Welcome. We think this is an excellent answer to our question. One of the signature scenes in the show was the pop over visit at Jerry's apartment. It seemed everybody popped over at Jerry's apartment unannounced, uninvited, and with out knocking. Some of the most funniest scenes from the show come from when Kramer enters into Jerry's apartment without knocking.

On May 14, 2013, 15 years from the last episode of Seinfeld the featured item of the day is the Cross Stitch Design Tuscan Welcome. There is such a warm reception you get when you get a Tuscan welcome. It probably is not as funny as a Seinfeld welcome but it is sincere and you feel right at home. In this cross stitch design the cat is even happy your here. The finished size of this friendly counted cross stitch design is 4" x 8" (10.1 x 20.3 cm).

The Cross Stitch Design Tuscan Welcome is from Dimensions Gold Collection Petites and is designed by Scott Kennedy. The kit includes presorted cotton thread, 18 count ivory Aida, needle, and easy instructions with alphabet and numbers.  As with all kits at www.abullrun.com this kit is new and has never been opened and is shipped in air bubble mailer.

Stamped Cross Stitch Design Butterfly Tablecloth and Spring has Sprung

Stamped Cross Stitch Design
Butterfly Tablecloth
Posted by Drew Zeitlin:

Hello everybody. We know spring has sprung in the Rockies. We had our usual it's 80 degrees one minute and snow blizzard the next minute, there are flowers blooming all over the place, and we just celebrated Mother's Day. As we were walking about yesterday we saw a tremendous amount of people outside picnicking and or barbecuing for Mother's Day. Boy did that food smell good. Boy, they were having a good time. Hope everybody had a great Mother's Day. Also on our walk about we started to see some very beautiful butterflies out and about. They too seemed like they were having a good time. Unfortunately they were not cooking anything that smelled as good as the Mother's Day crowd was cooking. Come to think about it, nobody from the Mother's Day crowd offered us a sampling. To bad it did smell good.

That got us to think how could you combine that fine cooking from the Mother's Day crowd and those beautiful butterflies everyday. We were stumped, and when we are stumped on a question, we turn to the guru of answers the digital vaults at abullrun. Without having to think a second they responded with the Stamped Cross Stitch Design Butterfly Tablecloth. We hate it when the answer is right in front of us and we miss it. A perfect selection.

In honor of some very fine picnic and barbecue food and the beauty of the butterfly the item of the day is the Stamped Cross Stitch Design Butterfly Tablecloth. This tablecloth is great for dinner inside as it will bring the great outdoors inside without the insects and bugs. However, this butterfly tablecloth will be great for your outside outings. It will truly spruce up any event. Remember on those outside events to offer up a sampling for your friends at abullrun (just joking, enjoy yourselves). The finished size of this fabulous tablecloth is 58" x 104" (147.32 x 264.16 cm).

The Stamped Cross Stitch Design Butterfly Tablecloth is from Tobin. The kit includes 58" x 104" (147.32 x 264.16 cm) oblong tablecloth with finished edge, permanent press soil release finish, 65/35 Poly/cotton fabric, stamped for cross stitch, and easy-to-follow instructions with a floss shopping list on back.  As with all kits at www.abullrun.com this kit is new and has never been opened and is shipped in air bubble mailer.

Cross Stitch Design Red Rose and Happy Mother's Day

Posted by Drew Zeitlin:

Hello everybody. Do you know what time it is? Here is a little hint. On May 8, 1914 the U.S. Congress passed a law designating the second Sunday in May as Mother's Day. If you check your trusty little, big, or digital calendar you will see that it is the second Sunday in May and therefor Mother's Day 2013.  Everybody at abullrun wants to wish all Mom's a Happy Mother's Day. What are your plans for Mother's Day? Are you doing dinner out? Hope you don't have a Mom cooking for you. Did you get Mom something special? Did you forget? Well, it is never to late to get a present for Mom even if it is a little late for Mother's Day.

So the question that we want answered is how best to celebrate Mother's Day? For that very important question we asked are good friends at the digital vaults at abullrun for that very important answer. The answer is the Cross Stitch Design Red Rose. As usual the digital vaults hit it out of the ballpark with that answer. Traditionally many people think that carnations are best for Mother's Day and surely you can not go wrong with that choice. There is however something about that red rose. Some people believe that if you give a red rose to your Mom it signifies respect and undying love. While other people think that giving a red rose to a lover or spouse signifies passion and commitment. A red rose is also an excellent choice for a husband to give to the Mother of his children.

So, it looks like we have the perfect item of the day for Mother's Day. Yes sir the featured item of the day is the Cross Stitch Design Red Rose. For some reason a red rose puts a smile on your face and joy in your heart. A red rose is also great for Mother's Day poems. Here is a classic for all Mom's, Roses are red; Violets are blue; Sugar is sweet; And so are you! Hey all the poems can't be great or new. It's the sentiment that counts, right? The finished size of this classic Mother's Day flower is 9" x 24" (22.86 x 60.96 cm).

The Cross Stitch Design Red Rose is from Design Works and is designed by Marilyn Robertson. The kit includes 100% cotton 14 Aida cloth, embroidery floss, needle, and instructions.  As with all kits at www.abullrun.com this kit is new and has never been opened and is shipped in air bubble mailer.

Cross Stitch Design Nature Study and Happy National Teacher's Day

Cross Stitch Design Nature Study
Posted by Drew Zeitlin:

Hello everybody. Today we want to talked about something very important and that is learning. Everybody knows that learning and gaining knowledge is big plus. The way most of us starting learning was when we attended school. The people who taught us in those important subjects in school were our teachers. Today is National Teacher's Day. Today is great day to appreciate the teachers who made a difference in your life. National Teacher's Day is the Tuesday, in the first full week in May. Who was your favorite teacher when you were growing up? Who was that teacher you did not like, because they were tough and now you realize how much you learned because the class was tough? Take a moment and say thanks to those special teachers.

The question that begs to be answered is how best to honor the teachers who make that special difference? To get that special answer from that special question we turn to the digital vaults at abullrun. As usual the digital vaults at abullrun delivered with an outstanding answer. The best way to honor teachers on National Teacher's Day is with the Cross Stitch Design Nature Study. Of course the best way to learn is to study and those teachers made you study that is for sure. Remember homework?

So on National Teacher's Day the most appropriate item of the day has to be the Cross Stitch Design Nature Study. Take a look at this studious bird. This bird seems to be soaking up all kinds of knowledge. This intellectual bird is not only smart but beautiful. This indeed is a rare bird. Needlepoint Design Gentle Strength and Congratulations Orb For Winning The Kentucky Derby

Needlepoint Design
Gentle Strength
Posted by Drew Zeitlin:

Hello everybody. Hope you had a great weekend. The weather in Colorado Springs stabilized and we did not see anymore snow. This weekend however, had a little more special meaning over in Louisville Kentucky. Over the weekend, to be more precise, this Saturday, they ran the 139th Kentucky Derby. This horse race is in Louisville, Kentucky at a place called Churchill Downs. The horse race is one and a quarter miles long and is the first leg of the US Triple Crown. Many people refer to this race as the "Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports" and it is exciting. They also call this horse race "The Run For The Roses" (Wow there are a lot of nicknames for this horse race.) because their is a blanket of roses draped over the winner. This year's they draped the blanket of roses over Orb. Orb is your 2013 Kentucky Derby winner and now has a chance to win the US Triple Crown. All Orb has to do now is win the Preakness and the Belmont Stakes and will become the first US Triple Crown winner since 1978. There has only been 11 horses ever to win the US Triple Crown. We wanted to congratulate Orb on his Kentucky Derby victory and wish him the best of look on his pursuit of the US Triple Crown.

It looks like the question that needs to be answer is how best to celebrate Orb's win at the Kentucky Derby? We obviously know Orb has a blanket of roses, so it looks like flowers will be out. How about candy? Naa that does not seem appropriate either. As we ponder that question, we thought maybe the digital vaults at abullrun should also ponder that question. The digital vaults at abullrun did ponder that question and after pondering for a little bit, they came back with the answer the Needlepoint Design Gentle Strength. What a beautiful design. It always amazes us that a horse can look so beautiful and have that strength about them as well. A magnificent animal indeed.

There could be no doubt that the featured item of the day after Orb's victory at the Kentucky Derby has to be the Needlepoint Design Gentle Strength. A quick look at this needlepoint design and you can see the essence of this horse is strength and endurance tempered by beauty and gentleness. What a combination. What a horse. The finished size of this majestic portait is 11" x 14" (27.94 x 35.56 cm).

The Needlepoint Design Gentle Strength is from Sunset and is designed by Persis Clayton Weirs. The kit includes cotton thread, 14 mesh canvas printed in full color, needle, easy instructions, with a  canvas size of 15" x 18" (38.1 x 45.72 cm).  As with all kits at www.abullrun.com this kit is new and has never been opened and is shipped in air bubble mailer.

Cross Stitch Design Let It Snow Stocking Instead Of May Flowers We Got Snow Showers and Christmas Is Coming

Cross Stitch Design
Let It Snow Stocking
Posted by Drew Zeitlin:

Hello everybody. We wanted to do a quick follow up on the crazy weather we had on April 30, 2013 and May 1, 2013. If you would like to read the original blog post titled Cross Stitch Design Winter Pleasure with an update and snow pictures click HERE. After a beautiful morning in Colorado Springs on April 30 the temperature rose to 80 degrees but by nightfall the temperature had dropped into the 20's. On May 1 we woke up to snow and the snow then turned to blizzard like conditions. One day we were headed to the beach (We know there is no beaches in Colorado Springs but we are using it as a metaphor) the next day we were headed for some ice skating. The funny part is May 2 we woke to clear skies and the temperature was in the 60's and there was no trace of any snow or ice skating and back to the beach we would be going. Just crazy weather.

The question that was on our mind was how best to commemorate the crazy weather we saw the last 3 days? As usual for that answer we turned our attention to the famed answer machine the digital vaults at abullrun. They came back to us with the answer the Cross Stitch Design Let It Snow Stocking. The digital vaults at abullrun also gave us a side note to pass along. In our opinion the digital vaults at abullrun are getting a little bossy. However we are glad to pass along their side note which stated, "Don't forget that Christmas is 7 months away and sometimes it can take up to 6 months to complete these cross stitch projects. If you want this beautiful cross stitch stocking hanging above your fire place this Christmas you might want to start it now." We concur that is good advise.

Experiencing beach weather, then ice skating weather, then back to beach weather all in 3 consecutive days the featured item of the day has to be for that really crazy snow day. So in honor if that snow day on May 1, 2013 the featured item of the day is the Cross Stitch Design Let It Snow Stocking. You know Christmas is always special, fun and joyful when there are snowmen around, and this Christmas stocking has its snowmen. As the famous winter song states, "Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful, and since we've no place to go, Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!" The finished size of this delightful Christmas stocking is 17" (43.18 cm).

The Cross Stitch Design Let It Snow Stocking is from Design Works and is designed by Joan Elliott. The kit includes 100% cotton #14 Aida cloth, embroidery floss, needle, trims, backing fabric(may vary), patterns and instructions.  As with all kits at www.abullrun.com this kit is new and has never been opened and is shipped in air bubble mailer.

Kreinik Metallic Thread Neon Fun Halloween Color Effect and The World Wide Web Turns 20

Kreinik Metallic Thread Neon Fun
Halloween Color Effect
Posted by Drew Zeitlin:

Hello everybody. It's May 1, 2013 and we have another birthday to celebrate. Unfortunately it has to be a belated happy birthday. On April 30, 1993 the World Wide Web was born and yesterday it turned 20. Wow 20 years of the World Wide Web how did we ever live without it. Tim Berners-Lee a British physicist developed the World Wide Web. The web was conceived as a method for physicists to share information around the world. Before the World Wide Web there was no browsers, no linking, no url's, no html, and obviously no web pages. Tim Berners-Lee at the time was working for CERN and on April 30, 1993 it announced that it was making the World Wide Web  technology freely available to the public. We are sure you know how the rest of this story goes. In a side note Tim Berners-Lee developed the web software using a NeXT computer created by Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. If you would like to see Tim Berners-Lee original web site click HERE.

The question that has to be asked is how best to celebrate an invention that has changed the world so much on its 20th birthday?  This is going to be a tough question. We always turn to the digital vaults at abullrun for answers to questions and especially answers to tough questions like this one. Without any hesitation the digital vaults came back that the best way to celebrate the 20th Birthday of the World Wide Web would be with the Kreinik Metallic Thread Neon Fun Halloween Color Effect. What! "How could that be?" was our response. Then it came to us, the digital vaults at abullrun was having a little fun with us. There is no better way to say Happy Birthday to the "Web" then with some other webs. Of course you have spider webs, and cobwebs, and where would you find the most spider webs and cobwebs. Well of course on Halloween. It's a good thing we pay the digital vaults at abullrun for their answers and not their humor.

So without any hesitation the featured item today is the Kreinik Metallic Thread Neon Fun Halloween Color Effect. Are you going to have fun with this thread collection. Can you imagine what you can do with stars, moons, witches, goblins, and of course spider webs and cobwebs. Cross Stitch Design Pleasures Of Winter and One Moment It Is Summer The Next Moment It is Winter. UPDATE: May 1 photo added

Cross Stitch Design Pleasures of Winter
Posted by Drew Zeitlin:

Hello everybody. Today is the last day of April 2013. Spring has sprung, we are very close to summer time and beach time. Since we live in Colorado Springs, we are kind of land locked so no beach for us. We do have great summers here but just no beach time. With all that said, we would like to share with you some springtime in the Rockies. Today is a great day to exhibit what it is like to live in Colorado Springs durning the springtime. The forecast for today calls for high temperature of 80 degrees. If there was a beach to be at in Colorado Springs you would be there today. It is a perfect summer day. However the forecast for tonight is for a few rain showers this evening mixing with snow showers overnight with a low temperature of 25 degrees. You know that beach we would be at today, it would be great place to ice skate tomorrow. It is a perfect winter day. That is why they say Colorado is the place you can use your heater and air conditioner in the same day and sometimes in the same hour.

The question on the table is how best to enjoy a day where at one moment it is summer and the next moment it is winter? What a dilama, what shall we do? To find out that all important answer we turn to the one source that could give us that answer. If you read this blog on a regular bases you know who we are going to turn to for this all important answer and of course it is the digital vaults at abullrun. They said to hold on for one more winter moment with the Cross Stitch Design Pleasures of Winter. Although we are excited that summer is right at the door stop, one last day of winter will be a pleasure.

On the last day of April 2013 the featured item of the day is the Cross Stitch Design Pleasures of Winter. Why have your convertible top down with a surf board in the back seat when you can take a sleigh ride across town. Why head to the beach to catch a wave or get a tan, when you can have some real fun by doing some ice skating or maybe some ice fishing if that is your thing. The finished size of this pleasurable cross stitch winter scene is 16" x 10" (41 x 25 cm).

The Cross Stitch Design Pleasures Of Winter is from Dimensions Gold Collection and is designed by Terry Redlin. The kit includes cotton thread, 18-count white Aida, metallic thread, color-coded thread sorter, needle, and easy instructions, with a fabric size 20" x 114" (51 x 36 ).  As with all kits at www.abullrun.com this kit is new and has never been opened and is shipped in air bubble mailer.

Cross Stitch Design Musical Roses and Happy 10th Anniversary iTunes

Cross Stitch Design
Musical Roses
Posted by Drew Zeitlin:

Hello everybody. There has been a lot of great moments in music throughout time. Way to many moments to explain in this blog post. The one we do want to talk about is the launching of iTunes. There is no doubt this change the way we produce and purchase music today. Apple's iTunes store opened on April 28, 2003. The iTunes music store started with 200,000 songs at 99 cents a song. Very revolutionary 10 years ago. You could play back your songs on any iPod and up to 3 Mac computers. If you were using Windows, well you were out of luck. Today, just 10 years later it is the biggest music vendor in the world and its musical library has over 28 million songs, and there is many ways you can listen to your music, even if you use Windows. We want to wish the iTunes store a Happy 10th Anniversary.

We pondered what to get a music store with over 28 million songs in its musical library for its 10th anniversary. We thought the best way to find this answer was to ask our good friends over at the digital vaults at abullrun. They to pondered this question (this seems to be a good question to ponder). Their answer was the whimsical Cross Stitch Design Musical Roses. After taking another look at this cross stitch design we have to concur. Obviously we like the musical instruments in the design but the roses are the key. There is no doubt the iTunes store turned up all roses in the last 10 years.

With the iTunes store turning 10 years old yesterday, the featured item of the day has to be the Cross Stitch Design Musical Roses. This cross stitch design conjures up more than a whimsical gift idea but a time where music and flowers came together.  Possibly memories from a past romance or maybe a future romance. How can you go wrong with this cross stitch design? By the way the digital vaults at abullrun have informed us that there is a very limited supply of this kit. The finished size of this fun romantic cross stitch design is 7.5" x 8.69" (19.05 x 22.07 cm).

The Cross Stitch Design Musical Roses is from Janlynn and is designed by Ellyna Berglund. The kit includes 14-count cotton Aida fabric, 6-strand carded 100% cotton floss, needle, graph, and instructions.  As with all kits at www.abullrun.com this kit is new and has never been opened and is shipped in air bubble mailer.
