Cross Stitch Design Bald Eagle and Happy Birthday America

Posted by Drew Zeitlin:

Hello everybody.  With Independence Day in the United States just around the corner we wanted to celebrate America's birthday.  The 4th of July is usually celebrated with a great fireworks display. After
reading our blog post from yesterday you know with the big fire in Colorado Springs, fireworks is probably not a wise thing to do at this time. Another reason we decided not use the fireworks is that we are
an Internet company and fireworks on the Internet is not quite the same as seeing it in person. The main reason we decided not to use fireworks in celebrating America's birthday is that we did not have a
needlecraft item that had fireworks in them. What we do have is the Bald Eagle.

The Bald Eagle is a great way to celebrate America’s birthday. The bald eagle was chosen June 20, 1782 as the emblem of the United States of American, because of its long life, great strength and majestic looks, and also because it was then believed to exist only on this continent. The eagle represents freedom. Living as he does on the tops of lofty mountains, amid the solitary grandeur of Nature, he has unlimited freedom, whether with strong pinions he sweeps into the valleys below, or upward into the boundless spaces beyond.

In honor of the bald eagle and America’s birthday we would like to feature the Cross Stitch Kit Morning Flight From Dimension. This kit is featured in the Cross Stitch Kits-Animals > Birds category. This beautiful bald eagle caught by the light in the early winter morning. What a picture. The finished size of this beautiful design is 14" x 11" (35 x 27 cm).

The Cross Stitch Kit Morning Flight Designed By Persis Clayton Weirs. The kit includes presorted cotton thread, 16 count grey Aida, needle, and easy instructions. As with all kits at www.abullrun.com this kit is new and has never been opened and is shipped in air bubble mailer.
