On April 15, 1912 (which is 101 years ago or 101 years and 1 day ago depending where you are living) the British liner RMS Titanic sank in the North Athletic Ocean after running into an iceberg. The sinking of the Titanic caused the deaths of 1,502 people. One of the deadliest peacetime maritime disasters of all time. There has been 38 movies, tv movies, dramas, documentaries, and tv episodes about the Titanic. Last year there was a tremendous amount of coverage because of the 100th anniversary of the sinking. This year for the 101st anniversary not so much coverage.
The question that needs to be answered is how best to remember the 101st anniversary of the sinking of the RMS Titanic?
