Cross Stitch Design Beach Waltz and The Indianapolis 500

Cross Stitch Design Beach Waltz
Posted by Drew Zeitlin:

Hello everybody. In yesterday's blog post we talked a lot about Memorial Day. We talked how it Memorial Day ment different things to different people. Yesterday we discussed that Memorial Day was the unofficial start to summer and collecting sea shells on the beach was a great thing to do in the summer. Another event that Memorial Day brings is the running of the Indianapolis 500. The Indy 500 is called The Greatest Spectacle In Racing and is considered one of the three most prestigious motor sports events in the World. Over 400,000 people trek to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to watch this event every year. In 1911 the first winner of the Indy 500 race was Ray Harroun.  A.J. Foyt, Al Unser, and Rick Mears have won the most Indy 500's at four a piece.  Today's winner was Tony Kanaan.

The question that has been racing around our minds is how do you tie summer, the beach, and automobile racing together? We believe this to be a very hard question and a question that might stump the all-time answering machine the digital vaults at abullrun. How are they going to be able to tie summer, the beach, and automobile racing together? The digital vaults at abullrun, just laughed off the question as to easy. Their answer was the Cross Stitch Design Beach Waltz. We have to admit they did have a great answer. They got summer, the beach, and automobile racing together and for good measure they threw in dancing, refreshments, and an old Victrola.

On the day that Tony Kanann wins the 97th running of the Indianapolis 500 the featured item of the day is the Cross Stitch Design Beach Waltz. As we mention this cross stitch design seems to have everything. This nostalgic look at song and dance is a must for your home. These couples dancing the waltz at the beach, from the music of an old Victrola, stationed on the back of this vintage car. They even have a waiter bring wine to them all in front of this gorgeous skyline view. The finished size of this most romantic cross stitch design is 9.5" x 12.5" (24.13 x 31.75 cm).

The Cross Stitch Design Beach Waltz is from Design Works and designed by Ronald West. The kit includes #14 Aida cloth, embroidery floss, needle, and instructions.  As with all kits at this kit is new and has never been opened and is shipped in air bubble mailer.
